The Great Pendragon
Hailing from Jutland, one of the three most powerful of the northern Germanic tribes with a reputation not only as warriors, but also as canny businessmen, traders and diplomats. They have a lesser presence in Logres (as of 495 AD) with a small number of warriors and settlers in Kent and Wessex
This diversity has caused a degree of friction between the Jutes and the more radical elements of the traditional Saxon culture.
The Jutes have a reputation for languages and negotiation that means even the most purity obsessed Saxon chieftain will have a few Jutish diplomats and heralds in his ranks if he is wise.
